Luxurious life on earth and in heaven

This morning, while I was on my way to the office, I saw people dressing up pretty and nice for work. I started envying them.

God then reveal to me these things:-

Luxurious in this life on earth is only temporary.

Yes, people may have pretty clothes, and shoes, and whatever not, enjoy the finest wine and food, but yet our life here is short and our enjoyment has a time limit to it as well.

Luxurious in the life in heaven is forever.

No one can imagine how long can forever be, until they sit down and think about it. The other night as I taught my children, I realise eternity is a very long time, it is never ending. It is so far that I cannot imagine what would I do everyday in heaven if I have eternity to spend there.

In actual fact the time I have here is very limited, compare to the Eternity that we are talking about. I realise that I should work my life here, to serve God while I can, so that I can enjoy my life when I go into heaven, because then, over there I am looking at enjoying my life in heaven for eternity.

It is interesting when I see the truth. I stop envying them, and I am glad that I have God with me in this life, and I am glad that I am able to serve him.
