For a New reason

The service today was great. Our guest speaker has shown me really that I wasn't there by chance. God has made me go to this service for a purpose.

He wants me to see that he wants to use me. In order for him to use me, he needs to break me first. Break my stubborness, break my pride, before he can return "me" in a perfect form, in the eye of the Lord.

Thru him, GOD challenged me to sign the blank contract. Nothing is written on it, and it will only be written down bit by bit, only after I sign on it. I responded to the altar call. With the heart to sign on the blank paper. A contract with God.

This is a serious matter, and now I have no way to turn back. But to follow God's instruction everyday, to do his will.

Everyday, the quiet time, the bible reading, praying into the realm of the Holy Spirit, is as important as taking my daily meal. I have to make sure that I faithfully do all these, before God shows me what is the next step he wants me to take.

It is true when Pastor says, that we are afraid that once we sign on the blank paper with God, we are afraid that we'll never ever be happy again. Although he says that it is not God's purpose to make us happy everyday, I do believe that it is definitely not God's purpose to make us sad everyday too.

God make everything happens for a reason. For a new reason, today, I step forth to sign the blank contract. To give my entire life to Lord Jesus, and serve him with my whole heart and soul, and with no turning back, everything has to be a YES. Indeed, a new reason to rejoice as I begin my new journey in my life to follow Jesus as a disciple, and not as one of the people in the great multitude.
